Refunds, plainly.
DRAFT — pending attorney review. This page states our intended policy in plain English; it becomes final after legal review and may change.
1. The 14-day promise
Within 14 days of purchase, and provided you have answered fewer than 100 paid practice questions, we refund the full amount — no questions asked. After 14 days, or after substantial use, refunds are at our discretion. This is the same policy stated in section 5 of our terms; this page just spells out how it works. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected by anything here.
2. How to request one
Email support@passdeed.com from the address you purchased with, or simply reply to your receipt email. Include the email address on the purchase and roughly when you bought — that is all we need, and you never have to give a reason. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
3. How refunds are issued
Refunds go through Stripe, back to the original payment method — we cannot send the money anywhere else, and we never see your card details. Once we issue the refund, card issuers and banks typically take 5–10 business days to show the credit on your statement.
4. Your access after a refund
When a refund is issued, paid access ends and your account reverts to the free diagnostic tier. Your study history is preserved — we never delete your data because of a refund. If you want it gone too, that is a separate request: see data deletion.
5. Subscriptions and trials
If you are on a recurring plan, you can cancel at any time in the billing portal — no email required. Cancelling stops future charges, and your access runs to the end of the period you already paid for. A trial cancelled before it ends is never charged anything.
6. Access through an employer or school
If a brokerage, school, or other organization bought your access, refunds are governed by our agreement with that organization, not by this page. Contact your PassDeed contact at the organization that registered you — or email support@passdeed.com and we will route the request to the right place.
7. Fair use
The no-questions-asked window exists so trying PassDeed is risk-free — not as a way to study in free 14-day cycles. We may decline refunds that form a repeated refund-then-repurchase pattern. Declining on those grounds never limits your statutory rights.
